Question: I am trying to apply for a job online and it only lists the contact as “human resources”– how to get a name?
I am trying to apply online for a job at Niche Media. The contact info listed is simply “Human Resources.” Argh. Niche Media is huuuge and encompases many different magazines, and I cannot track down a current HR name for anyone in the main NY office. I am not sure if calling is appropriate, and it’s a weekend anyway.

Is there a way to do this besides Googling? I don’t want to send a cover letter without addressing a real human. (Why would they even do that, anyway? Do they actually want us to say, Dear Human Resources? Or what?)

help please!

Answer:

Answer by helloeveryone
i would follow thier on line directions and not worry about a name for that part.

You may wnat to consider sending a hard copy of your resume as well, and to do that it could be good to get a name. Call the receptionist monday morning and ask for the HR person for the area you are interested in.

You can also try to figure it out through google as you say, or through linkedin.com – they have millions of people on it, search under the company name as current employer, and try under HR and under recruiting.

Good Luck!

Question: Any Adsense tool to verify the pricing of a keyword?
All I get is the most paying adsense keywords. Any idea what “job search” is worth? Any tool who can give me the pricing of a specific word or phrase?

Answer:

Answer by RealSEO – Ask Good Questions
After running, you can get some of this data in the Adsense advanced reporting interface. For Ad CPM, you can use this method:

Under the Reports tab, on the left, see “Show Data By”. Below it, they should open the drop-down menu and select “Individual Ad”. Adjust preferences and click “Display Report”. The resulting report will show Ad eCPM in the second-to-right column. Work backwards from that. Do not use page eCPM or you’ll get misleading numbers should you have more than one ad on your page

For reference:

CTR = (Clicks / Impressions) * 100
EPC = Earnings Per Click
eCPM = (Earnings / Impressions) * 1000
eCPM = CTR * EPC * 10

Question: Is he interested in me!? Please help!:):)?
I can’t tell cause he’s really popular and idk if he’s just being nice and friendly or something more..
By the way, during this story im about to tell you, i am at an audition and he’s the stage manager. so Before I met him he smiled at me, made jokes in front of me to his friends, said funny things to me, whenever I said something sarcastic to him he would smile and wink. Then after he asked me what my name was we shook hands, and he was telling me about the homework he was working on. I was standing in front of him and was looking down on his paper as he was explaining (could see PERFECTLY fine) and he was like, “Here, you could see better if you sit next to me”. So i sit next to him, he keeps talking to me, saying jokes, making me laugh, were talking. And then talking to me about how this college wants him so he’s going to flordia to get interviewed this weekend. And then sarcastically was like:
“You know, I would say you could text me to tell me if you made the cast list, but i don’t have your number”. And jokingly i was like “hmm.. that could be a problem”. and he was like “thats an answer thats going to have to be written down on paper”. (so he later gave me his phone so i put my number in. I was joking how i was out of breath from an excersise we did at the audition and he takes my hand, holds if for a second, (checking my pulse), and was like, “no your just nervous”. and i was like “no! i am actually out of shape”. and he said “nahh, you don’t look out of shape” (smiling;) and then after the audition he obviously waits up for me to get my stuff together and we walk out together. My friend came up to me and asked if i was walking home now or staying a bit longer. And i said i was walking home now. since he was right next to me he overheard this and asked if i wanted a ride home. I was like “well are you sure you don’t mind?” and he was like “no not at all”. So after the car ride he was trying to impress me i could tell. as i got out of the car i said “oh and your going to have to text me cause i don’t have your number” and he was like “oh i guess i can doo that….” (jokingly again). he texted me 30 minutes after i got home, we texted throughout the night, but he didn’t seem as into me over text.. maybe thats cause its just over text but idk. when the conversation died i was like “haha thats funny” and he just said “haha yeah”. IS HE INTO ME? i can’t tell! and i lost my phone so idk if he texted me this weekend or not. Ill find out tomorrow since i get my phone.

oh but over text he was like “yeah, since we have the same 3rd period, we can collab and help each other out” and when we started talking about how i think i am a bad test taker he was like “well being a pal (a club at school), i know some good test taking tips”. and i was like “like what?” and he was like “their kind of hard to explain over text. when you make the cast, ill explain them to you”. but at the time when we were texting, i just finished my audition, and didn’t know if i would make callbacks or the cast.

but i ended up making a reallyyyyy good role in the play!:)
