I watch your videos before every interview… not just for the great advice, but also because it helps me get “in the zone,” and builds instant confidence! Thanks so much!
great info but the music came in awkwardly.
intimidating.
@121adamp I understand the frustration but maybe you can do UNV?
@stopabusinganimals1 yay I want to go Vegan when I’m 21 I’ve been doing research on faux meats and alternatives and vitamin b 12 supplements. But in the corps I don’t think you can have a vegan diet in a third world can you?
@DontBeAfraidToCare I think you can it’s just highly recommended you have a degree
@IraVanIris well there is no fee to enter like the armed forces..
OMG I would LOVE to be in the peace corps I meet almost all the requirements just need to graduate in a year and doing habitat for humanity in a month and speak spanish and french. I will keep applying no matter what they say forever!!!
She fails to mention that you have to be a rich kid and a registered Democrat.
I’m confused. On the Peace Corps website they said that a college degree was highly recommended but in this interview she didn’t mention it at all.

@stopabusinganimals1 you provide a good point but where are vegetarians suposed to get protein?
@DontBeAfraidToCare yes, and no
I’ve been wanting to join the Peace Corps for sometime now. However I think I’ve hit a brick wall. Is it mandatory to have a college degree? If I find a ton of volunteer work, and make a strongly worded essay, would I have any chance of being accepted?
@sluggo06 nothing thats why it doesnt matter what we do or who we are in life…its all royally pointless.HAPPY NOW!?!?! lol
I had the time of my life; went to the Philippines 5 days after I graduated from college. I was (and am) very proud to have done it! GO FOR IT!
What do u think happens after we die?
@cindywoods1982 like what do you mean? what’s the truth about Peace Corps?
@cindywoods1982 How about you tear a page out of your own book and do YOUR research. No, watching a single 20/20 episode about it does NOT count as research. That just means you’ve seen a single biased news source present a single side of a story.
If she only knew the truth about Peace Corp. She should think twice she may be the next victim. Don’t do it! Do your research!
WATCH 20/20 aired on January 14, 2011
I have my interview tomorrow! So incredibly nervous!
